The goal of Nurikabe is to divide a grid into "islands" and "walls" based on numbers provided in some of the cells. Each number represents an island, and the value indicates the total number of squares that make up that island, including the cell with the number.
Islands must be separate from one another — they cannot be connected horizontally or vertically. The remaining squares, which are not part of any island, form the "Nurikabe" — a single continuous area of connected wall cells.
There are two important rules: the wall (Nurikabe) must be connected throughout the entire puzzle with no isolated sections, and no 2x2 block of wall cells is allowed. Solving the puzzle requires both logical deduction and careful planning!
